Food Security in Some Developing Countries is the issue to solve. Food security is mostly reliant on food access (FAO, 2014). Literature on integration of food security and agricultural sciences (crops production and animal production) is facing the inadequacy. Population of the world is increasing rapidly, so it will be more than 9 billion in 2050 (FAO, 2014). The appeal of time is to overcome this challenge which is complicated and difficult at a time.

     According to The Millennium Development Goals Report 2014, the majority of the poor people of the world is considered to live in two regions, sub-Saharan Africa and Southern Asia earns $1.25 per day. In 2010 world’s one third extreme poor person approximately 1.2 billion lived in India alone. Despite of much progress China is ranked second.    
What is food security challenge?
Yes food security is a challenge in these days. But in developing countries the basic reason for the shortage of food is lack of investment and funds in infrastructure of food production system. Azerbaijan took pleasure in economic growth after implementation of social reforms in late 2000s (Report Global food security index 2015). Similarly, above mentioned countries are also facing the problem of food security.

Calories per capita 
According to Economic Research Service, Food security gives a proper measure of calories per day and per capita for individuals to gain which is 2,100.But unfortunatly in developing countries most of the people unable to understant the standard requirment of calories.

International survey and undernourished people
According to USDA’s 2013-23 International Food Security Assessment estimated that 255 million people are facing the problem of food security among the study of 76 low-income countries 36.1 % people are food-insecure in India. Giving points of FAO seven countries of the world have two-third of undernourished people of the world as Pakistan, Indonesia, Ethiopia, India, Republic of Congo, China and Bangladesh. Food insecurity is in very complicated condition in these countries.

Food security and ranking of some developing countries.
Vietnam is at 65th number in ranking of food security, and the scores are 53.4. According to a report of VietNamNet 2012, in Vietnam production of rice is not facing shortage because Vietnam is the 2nd largest exporter of the world. But only rice production is not a guarantee of food security.

El Salvador improved score by +24.7 points examined in a report “Global food security index 2015”. It is at 66th position in the world food security index with 53.3 points. According to World Food Program El Salvador is basically a small country with 20 active volcanoes in the producing area of agricultural production. 

India is the 68th position with 50.9 scores. India is an important country because of its higher rank for food insecure. Regarding the report of all countries, India is reported as a country which has declining trend in per capita calories.

Nicaragua is claimed by Food Security Portal as a second poorest country after Haiti in Latin America. Nicaragua and Guatemala both are in 70th number.

Guatemala is a country whose population is mostly indigenous. It is a poor and agricultural country so facing the problem of food insecurity. Major crops are beans, wheat and maize etc. But not much produced to finish food security . According to a report Global food security index 2015, Guatemala has improved in food security scores by +22.0 points.
